From the recording She Sprinkles Her Love

I came up with a very light-sounding chord progression and was starting to think up words for it when my wife said, "If you put words to such light, airy music then you'll have to just sprinkle them here-and-there very carefully."   Immediately, her statement gave me the idea for this song's lyrics, in which love is being sprinkled on someone.  Sprinkles are light and so I thought of light objects (soap bubbles) and "sprinkly words" (such as "flutter", "twinkle") and the lyrics kind of wrote themselves in about an hour.

SHE SPRINKLES HER LOVE

She sprinkles her love, here and there,
Blows soap bubbles, into the air.
Her kisses sparkle, spin and hop.
When they land, they gasp and pop.

She sprinkles some winks, from twinkling eyes, that shine so deep,
Shine into mine.
Twinkling eyes, that flutter and fly.
When they close, my heart has to sigh.

She sprinkles a smile, around the room.
I hope to catch sight of her smile,
 Real soon.

Her lips glisten, as she nods and listens,
 To a friend.

Oh, she sends me spinning, like a little cast top,
Spinning tops that drop,
As she laughs and stares,
Into space.
I hope,
 There's a place for me.

I want to be where she sprinkles her love.
Her soft, love sparkles,
Fall from above.

She sprinkles some winks, from twinkling eyes. that shine so deep,
Shine into mine.
Twinkling eyes, that flutter and fly.
When they close, my heart has to sigh.

She sprinkles her love, here and there,
Blows soap bubbles, into the air.
Her kisses sparkle, spin and hop.
When they land, they gasp and pop, on me.

On me.
