All the females in this song are real. They each have qualities I admire and so I wrote a song about these qualities. For instance, I had a terrible crush on my first cousin Kathy when I was a child and she has many freckles, so ever since then I've always liked females with freckles. I dated Charlotte in high school and loved her smile. Jennifer was a good friend who died of cancer and I was struck by her courage in the face of death. Lisa is my dear sister; Margot is my wife, and so on.
